Technology for Change (TfC) is a nonprofit organization, based in China, that develops web and software systems to support social equity and human development.
We believe that there is great opportunity and scope to leverage computer and internet technology to deliver creative, sustainable and culturally appropriate tools for the public good. It is important that the benefits of new technology, whether they be real-time analytics, improved efficiency or instantaneous communication, are shared by all and do not merely serve the interests of a privileged few.
TfC's work is volunteer-based, and utilizes open source components wherever possible. We are passionate about our work, and adhere to high standards of usability, reliability and maintainability.
Our current project is a website related to HIV & AIDS, aimed at health workers and community-based organizations in China. Further information about the project will be posted on this website as it becomes available.
